Students entering for the fall quarter who were unable to attend a Summer Orientation session, should plan to attend the following activities at the beginning of Fall Quarter and review the information below.
All new students who did not attend a Summer Orientation session are strongly encouraged to attend a Fall (Make-Up) Orientation session:
- Fall (Make-Up) Orientation for Transfer Students: Monday, September 19, 12:30 – 3:00 P.M.
- Fall (Make-Up) Orientation for First-Year Students: Tuesday, September 20, 12:30 – 3:00 P.M.
Registration is required to attend Fall (Make-Up) Orientation. Review the above webpages for specific information about the session.
All new students should attend their college Deans Assembly during Fall Welcome.
- College of Letters and Science: Monday, September 19, 8:30-10:00 A.M., 1100 Social Sciences and Humanities Building
- College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences: Tuesday, September 20, 3:00-4:30 P.M., Mrak Hall

New students (first-years and transfers) can also seek additional academic advising in one of the three Residential Academic Advising Centers and meet with a First Year Experience Peer Adviser. Peer advisers are available for drop-in academic advising and can review your fall quarter academic schedule or answer general academic questions. These services are free of charge and will be available to all new students throughout the Academic Year.
