Fall (Make-Up) Orientation is an opportunity for new, incoming transfer students who could not attend Summer Orientation to receive important information about academic and campus resources, meet with peer advisers to adjust class schedules, and learn how to get involved at UC Davis. Participants also receive copies of the "Your First Year as an Aggie" Student Handbook and Calendar.
Fall (Make-Up) Orientation for Transfer students is on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 12:30 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. in 123 Sciences Lecture Hall (see the campus map).
Due to a limited number of spaces, participants are required to register for Fall (Make-Up) Orientation. Register by Friday, September 9 through MyAdmissions.
If issues occur while registering for Make-Up Orientation, contact Orientation directly.
The program fee is $40.00.
The cost of Orientation will be billed directly to the student’s university account via MyBill. No payment is necessary at the time of reservation. The Orientation fees will be charged in late October and will be available on the October MyBill Statement. Fees are due by the November 15th deadline. The billing statement will reflect the cost of attendance for the student that attends the program. The Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) fee of $100 does not apply towards Orientation fees.
Failure to pay Orientation fees by the billing deadlines may result in a $75 per quarter Student Housing late charge and may result in a hold on records and a block on registration. If you have any questions or problems regarding Orientation reservation fees only, contact the Orientation Program office at (530) 752-4443. Do not call the Financial Aid or Student Accounting Offices.
The Orientation program is not subsidized by student tuition. The cost of attendance covers all program materials and staffing.
Any questions regarding Fall (Make-Up) Orientation can be addressed by contacting the Orientation Office.
