Welcome to all of our new and prospective Transfer students!

It is a campus expectation that all new transfer students attend Orientation. Transfer Orientation is for those students who have previously attended either a two-year or four-year institution and have been admitted to UC Davis as a transfer student. This program is a one-day, tightly organized event, full of sessions and activities. Families can register for a concurrent but separate family program. Sessions have anywhere from 300-600 student and family participants at a time. While at Transfer Orientation, participants learn about the wide variety of resources and services at UC Davis. You will hear about your College expectations, opportunities for involvement, and receive academic advising. Participants will meet other entering students and register for fall-quarter classes.
